Frequently Asked Questions


Here are some common questions about our Festival.

 Iowa's premier music fest where the audience floats in the water!

There are several areas where you can park, and attendants will direct you to the appropriate spots.

We encourage car pooling if possible. Campers get priority parking, day goers should be prepared for a short walk (1/8 mile) from your car. Priority spots up front are reserved for those with mobility issues and bands.

Free primitive camping Friday and Saturday. Some spots for RVs, so let us know if you are bringing an RV in advance and we will find a spot for you! No hookups available, sorry!

Bring a float, a boat, or work on your abs by treading water. There will be some limited seating on the dock, the best views are from the water.

A fire pit and informal jam session in the evening. Feel free to bring your own instrument and join in the fun. Karaoke and DJs on the pond porch!

There will be a limited number of individual floats, a couple of large party "lilly pads," and a handful of boats and paddle boards available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

We encourage all swimmers to have a floation device for both comfort to view the performers and for safety. 

There is also a dock in the middle of the pond, but splashing may occur as people will be jumping off all day! Come early if you need help blowing up large floats.

This is a family-friendly event and kids under 18 are FREE. No lifeguards on duty, so make preparations where needed.  

Yes! However, they need to have the ability to be on a leash if needed and have to play nice with others. 

Day of tickets available, but buy now and save money!

Ground beef and vegetarian/vegan walking taco options will be available until we run out for a free will donation. Please feel free to bring your own snacks & food as well. 

BYOB. Some specialty drinks available for a free will donation. "Pond Water" is our delightful signature drink made with Yerba Mate and booze. Also N/A Elderflower lemonade will be available, until we run out. Bring stuff to share and make a friend! 

Bring it! We can always use more.  

A porta-potty near the pond will be available. There is also a changing area in the pond porch. 

Yes! Bring bait, a pole, and try your luck! Limited amount of fishing gear available. No fishing off the dock during performances. Please select an area where swimmers are not swimming.
